Busch Gardens Williamsburg is holding their Food and Wine festival until June 12th, 2022 and we were finally able to get Blake’s brother Ty to join us for the festival and to spend some time together.
We got to the park around 3:00pm and being a Saturday, of course it was busy.
While Blake, his mom and brother got everything ready to go into the park, I went ahead to the kiosk and printed out our free food and wine festival tickets and a free ticket for Ty. Each of our passes get multiple free tickets throughout the year. (If anyone needs one, let me know).
We asked Ty if there was anything specific he wanted to do and he said he was just along for the ride and happy to be hanging out.
The first thing we did was take Taylor to see which character was in the Sesame Street Forest of Fun for a meet n greet. It was Grover (one of her favorites) and Uncle Ty happily obliged to have his picture taken with her.

Mainly being there for the food and wine festival, our first stop was Korea. Since the lines for the food were pretty long, I took Taylor on the Elephant Run. She is a big fan of anything fast.

We also made a stop at the Australia booth to grab some lamb chops and a mixed drink.
The Teacups can hold up to 5 people and we decided to hop on together. It was quite the experience. Nothing but laughs the entire time and Taylor sucking her thumb because it was not fast enough.

Everyone has fails and this is our teacup fail. I came up with the “brilliant” idea to set my phone in the center of the table and record us and well…….that didn’t work out well. I thankfully caught my phone before it flew out of the cup.
We skipped the Japan, Italy and Jamaica booths and took Taylor for a ride on the Carousel. Taylor decided the pole needed a hug.

We stopped by the Stein shop in Germany to get German beer. I had a couple of sips and then gave the rest of mine to Ty. I started a new workout program and wanted to have a few sips but didn’t want the extra calories.
We stopped at the Brazil Booth to get some beef. This is one of our favorite booth for food during the festival.
Now it is time for the Log Flume. Taylor loves this ride and she has been riding it since she was 14 months old. Last time we went rode it, we had so much fun so this time I went in one boat by myself and Blake, Ty, Teri and Taylor went in another boat. I was able to take pictures of them and film them. Way too much fun was had in their boat.

The Le Scoot (Log Flume) does pictures coming down the big hill. So thankful for these!!

After having way too much fun, we stopped in France and got Beignets.
Blake, Ty and Teri went on Griffin while Taylor and I waited to film them going down the hill. They are in the front row to the left.

I stopped by the Hawaii booth for a Blue Hawaiian. It is my favorite drink the park has.
We also stopped at the Greece booth and got a few different foods to try.
Blake, Ty and Teri went on Finnegan’s Flyer and I took Taylor to Sesame Street Forest of Fun to ride some of the rides. We went on Elmo’s Spire and Oscar’s Wiggly Worm. She has so much fun on them.

We attempted to take Ty on Pantheon since we got there but it was never open so we decided to try one more time before heading home and it was closed due to fireworks this time. Very unfortunate and disappointing.
Blake and I took Ty on Tempesto which is my favorite rollercoaster in the park.
Once done with Tempesto we head towards the parking lot and were able to catch the fireworks while we were standing near the car. Busch put on a decent fireworks show (not Dollywood quality but quality).

We had such a great time at Busch and very happy that Ty could join us. Hopefully he will join us again soon.

****If you go to Busch, get the Photo Key!!!! I highly recommend it!****
