After leaving the hotel around 6, we drove straight to Disney – Magic Kingdom. The real trip has begun! We cross under that arch was all stress and worry disappear.
After paying $30 to park, we get our parking spot, put on sunscreen and head for the tram. I made sure to snap a picture of our park area since the parking lot is massive.

We board the tram and head for the monorail.

After getting off the monorail, we see the Magic Kingdom sign! We are officially here! Let the Magic begin!

Taylor had a hair appointment that we were trying to make it to. Her hair appointment was at 12:20 at Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street. we scan our tickets and get to the barber shop with 2 minutes to spare.
Taylor received a warm welcome and she climbed into her seat for her first haircut! I have waited for this moment since she was born. The other kids had their first haircut at Harmony Barber Shop and I wanted Taylor to have her there as well!
Taylor got all the pixie dust! She got a ton of stickers and then had the drape wrapped around her. She got a light toy and the haircut began.
We timed Taylor’s haircut perfectly with the Main Street parade. Taylor was again pixie dusted because every single princess, prince and Disney Character in the parade pointed and waived at her. Talk about one heck of a 1st hair cut!

I had to get a picture of Blake in front of the Magic Kingdom fire station

We head down Main Street and the kids try to find the vents that make Main Street smell like a bakery.
I take some pictures of them on Main Street and we get 2 balloons to tie to the stroller. (I have had my stroller moved so many times in stroller parking, that I always get balloons to be able to locate my stroller).

After watching some of the show at the castle, we head to our first ride – Jungle Cruise I love this ride and all the “dad jokes” told along the way. This was a great first ride at Disney for Taylor.

While waiting for the Magic Carpet ride, we get in line to meet Jasmine.

After the Carpets, we went to Pirates of the Caribbean. I was nervous about Taylor on it because it’s very loud. She did okay but said, “not again”

As we were making our way to Fantasyland, we ran into Peter Pan and he requested to have a picture with Ethan. It was perfect. My best friend made his shirt for this trip at my request.

Our next ride – Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid.

We got stuck twice on our next ride – The Haunted Mansion. Taylor opted not to ride it. It was a good idea because one of the spots we got stuck was near the stairs
No trip to the Magic Kingdom would be complete without a ride on It’s a Small World.

Of course we had to get a picture outside our favorite bathrooms aka Rapunzel’s Tower.

As always, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train did not disappoint. Taylor was happy she was tall enough for this ride since she wasn’t tall enough for Big Thunder

Taylor really wanted to go to Casey Jrs. Splash N’ Soak Station. We finally brought her over and she was so happy and of course…soaked.

While the kids were playing in the water, I went to Gaston’s Tavern for 2 Grey stuff cupcakes and LeFou’s Brew. I just wanted a taste of each. The kids got the rest.

Soaking wet, we went to visit Ariel.

After seeing Ariel, we decided it was time for a little break and what better way to take a break, the People Mover! It’s such a fun and relaxing ride.

I had a reserve time for Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. I thought I had a good score but the kids beat me by a long shot.

Now, a classic favorite – Space Mountain!!!

As soon as we finished Space Mountain, it was time to head to our queue time for Tron. I ended up buying the LL+ for it because I wanted to ensure we got to ride. I also got the virtual queue for it and it ended up being for about the same time. We just used the one I purchased to ride because even with the LL+ the line was long and we had to do a parent swap. During that time, Taylor took a much needed nap.

As soon as we finished Tron, we ran to the castle to watch the fireworks show Happily Ever After.
Once the fireworks were over, we went on Astro Orbiter. The elevators were so hot but the ride was worth it. I rode with Austin. It was special to me because he rode with me his first time on it when he wasn’t even a year old.

We still needed dinner so we went to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. Nothing special about the restaurant but it was quick and we got what we needed. I got the stitch cake dessert but by the time I got back to the table, Taylor had already eaten the ears. The restaurant forgot to give us our sides for the kids meals.

Our last stop of the night was The Barnstormer. Taylor couldn’t get enough of this coaster. We ended up riding it a couple of times. She was so happy.

This concluded our night at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. What a magical day! From first haircut to new rides and creating lifelong memories as a family alongside a sold out park, we couldn’t have asked for a better day! Until next time….

Until next time….
